Our Leadership

Jamie Stewart has served as the Lead Pastor of Life Church since January 2016. With over 38 years of full-time ministry experience, he is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with God. His teaching is known for being practical and scripture-centered, making the Bible approachable and applicable to everyday life. You’ll also often find him behind the keyboard, helping lead worship.

Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Jamie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College, a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, and a Doctorate in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. His heart for discipleship, spiritual formation, and the mission of the local church shapes everything he does at Life Church.

Jamie and his wife, Michelle, live in sunny Florida with their energetic puppy, Chai. They are proud parents to five children and “Papa” to seven grandkids. Jamie is known for his constant smile, genuine love for people, and his dependable, faith-filled presence that anchors the Life Church community.
